We first met Sara when we started our property investment journey in Hull in 2016.  She was to be our first letting agent to look after our HMO’s in Hull.  She was introduced to us after a search for a professional agent dealing in professional lets. Sara was and is a professional at anything she puts her hand to, she inspired us to create and run professional HMO’s for the professional market in Hull, she set the bar very high for herself and for us as landlords filling our houses with the best tenants.  As we are foreign nationals, we relied on her expert advice and help which she readily gave way and above what was required, she helped calm our little wobbles on our investment journey, offering expert knowledge and practical expertise in the rental property market. She was only ever a phone call away and she really did help steady the ship so to speak when we had problems etc. Her staff were very well trained and always there for us as needed.

It was with great disappointment to us that she decided to leave Hull and close her letting agent business, to follow a bigger career in property development, but when you meet with Sara you will understand why… She is a lady with great ambition for herself, and anyone who chooses to work with her will be blown away with her drive and positive attitude to obtaining the very high standard she sets for herself to achieve her goals. She pushes herself to be the best and she delivers the best. We wish her all the best of success and good fortune in her future endeavours and we look forward to working with her again soon.

We first met in 2010 when confidence in the UK property market was at a generational low.  With many fleeing for perceived safety, Sara understood that with sufficient knowledge and diligence there were still returns to be made on the right property in the right area; and that the risks could be mitigated (or managed) to protect these returns.

Sara has been instrumental in building up my HMO portfolio, from sourcing potential properties to converting and then managing them. All this while dealing with an ever changing regulatory landscape at both the council and national level.

Sara identified sooner than others how the development market was shifting in the middle part of this decade. As a result we were able to execute several profitable JV’s with good returns but then shift focus before these niches became flooded and margins eroded.

I have known Sara on a personal level for almost 20 years, and since 2013 she has helped me with a couple of property deals.  Her experience in the field has proved invaluable. The first project, a 3 bedroom house flip in York, was completely run by Sara, from sourcing the property and securing the right price, through advising on financing, designing a new layout, and managing the building and styling process.  She also marketed the property for sale and achieved a great price in a very short space of time!  She then found a small buy to let property for me and oversaw its refurbishment for the local rental market.  This year I sold the property and Sara was able to arrange a very quick sale for me.  Sara’s always been efficient and has always kept me informed and met any deadlines we’ve set.  I couldn’t have done these projects without her!
